The impact series is one of the most popular and versatile fighting games on mobile devices. However, not all sets are created equal, so this article will rank the top 5 most powerful artifact sets in Genshin Impact!

Genshin Impact is an online multiplayer card game that allows players to create their own decks. The “genshin impact artifacts tier list” ranks the most powerful artifact sets in Genshin Impact by combining power, versatility, and rarity.

Artifacts are the backbone of every character in Genshin, as experienced players would know. The appropriate artifacts make or break your character’s kit, providing substantial set bonuses and the majority of stats.

There are now 38 artifact sets to pick from in the game, according to the most recent version 2.3.

It might be daunting to figure out which sets you should be developing if you’re a new player or just beginning to optimize your setup.

That’s why we’ll go through the greatest artifact sets in Genshin Impact, as well as which perks are worth it and which characters profit the most.

What You Should Know About Artifacts

There are a few things that newer players should be aware of before we begin our list.

Before Adventure Rank 40, don’t bother about optimizing too much.

Until you reach rank 40, you won’t be able to reliably harvest legendary tier artifacts (orange background). Those are the ones you’ll be putting your money into for your ultimate end-game constructions.

It’s sometimes preferable to mix and match the 2-piece bonus rather than choose for the 4-piece bonus.

It’s not always worth it to get the four-piece bonus. Combining two distinct sets for their 2-piece bonuses might give you more bang for your buck.

Characters with diverse artifact sets need varied team compositions and builds.

Investigate the teams you create to find which artifact set best complements each character’s job.

Keep your legendary-tier and leveled-up artifacts safe.

You can utilize previously levels up artifacts to super level your new ones after you’ve gotten to the stage where you can constantly harvest legendary artifacts. You may also use the Mystic Offering method at Alchemy Tables if you reach Adventure Rank 45. This allows you to exchange three legendary artifacts for a new one from one of four sets.

Genshin Impact’s Top Artifacts, Ranked

Without further ado, here is a list of the greatest artifacts for each character in the Genshin Impact.

12/12

Beloved Maiden

12 Maiden Beloved- WoW Image credit: HGG/miHoYo

  • Character Healing Effectiveness +15 percent in two pieces
  • 4-Piece: Using an Elemental Skill or Burst enhances all party members’ healing by 20% for 10 seconds.
  • Valley of Remembrance is a place of remembrance in the United States (Mondstadt)

The first item on our list is the greatest artifact set for Genshin era devoted healers. Until we see how the new Ocean-Hued Clam set performs, that is. However, Maiden Beloved takes the top rank in terms of boosts to basic healing.

Barbara and Kokomi, the game’s two specialist healer troops, are the best candidates to run this artifact set. It also helps that every player receives a copy of Barbara.

Both characters’ talents currently offer continual healing, and they’re expected to utilize their bursts to replenish teammates on a regular basis. Running the 4-piece bonus assures that you may return to full health from the verge of death in the blink of an eye.

Different characters capable of healing can also play Maiden Beloved, although other artifact sets tend to scale better with them and their mechanics.

11/12

Petra, the ancient city

11 Archaic Petra - WoW Image credit: HGG/miHoYo

  • Geo DMG Bonus +15 percent on 2-piece
  • 4-Piece: Obtaining an Elemental Shard from a Crystallize Reaction grants all party members a 35 percent DMG Bonus for that element for 10 seconds. This method may only be used to obtain one kind of Elemental DMG Bonus at a time.
  • Guyun’s Domain is the location of this event (Liyue)

This is the first of the artifact sets for each element, in this instance Geo. Despite the fact that Geo is in a much better position today than it was when it was released, the 4-piece bonus from this artifact set remains generally underused to this day owing to its lack of influence on the wielder.

If you’re making a damage dealer with a Geo-aligned character, opt for Archaic Petra’s 2-piece benefit and combine it with a 2-piece boost from another artifact set.

The other artifact set is usually one that grants an 18% ATK increase (Gladiator’s/ Shimenawa’s). Ningguang and Geo Traveler are two excellent examples.

While you could utilize Archaic Petra’s 4-piece bonus to set up another character’s damage, it’s a little clumsy, and there are more efficient options.

10/12

Fury that rages

10 Thundering Fury Image credit: HGG/miHoYo

  • Electro DMG Bonus +15 percent 2-Piece
  • 4-Piece: Increases the amount of damage done by Overloaded, Electro-Charged, and Superconduct by 40%. Elemental Skill CD is reduced by 1 second when such effects are triggered. It can only happen once every 0.8 seconds.
  • Midsummer Courtyard is the location for this event (Mondstadt)

We’ve arrived to the Electro artifact set. To gain the Electro damage increase, most characters will be running simply the 2-piece bonus, similar to Archaic Petra.

While the 4-piece set is more more beneficial than its Geo predecessor, it still falls short for the majority of characters. It’s wonderful to see Overload and Superconduct get a boost, although they pale in compared to Vaporize and Melt. Electro-Charged is mostly used to combat hydro mimics (a very niche enemy).

On paper, the skill cooldown seems to be a wonderful idea, but in most circumstances, the effort it takes to set it up isn’t worth it. The majority of Electro users have quite short cooldowns for their abilities.

We suggest matching the 2-piece Thundering Fury bonus with one of the 18 percent ATK enhancements if you intend on using it. The Electro users who gain the most from this combination are Fischl, Keqing, and Lisa.

If you insist on utilizing the 4-piece bonus, Lisa is the only character who can use it effectively while running Xingqiu/Thoma and using her hold skill.

9/12

Heart of the Matter

9 Heart of Depth Image credit: HGG/miHoYo

  • 2-Piece: +15 percent Hydro DMG Bonus
  • 4-Piece: Increases Normal Attack and Charged Attack DMG by 30% for 15 seconds after performing an Elemental Skill.
  • Vindagnyr’s peak is located here (Dragonspine)

Finally, we’ve arrived to a stage where the 4-piece bonus for one of the elemental sets is seen acceptable and desired. Unfortunately, the number of Hydro users is small, with three of them mostly serving as support.

Heart of Depth is a fantastic/best choice for a Hydro DPS for the final two characters (Childe and Mona).

After transitioning to melee stance, Childe is anticipated to produce large sustained damage with normal/charged strikes, hence the 4-piece boost is ideal for him. Just remember to keep an eye on his skill’s cooldown.

Mona is usually designed as a burst nuke option, but with this artifact set, she may also be used as a primary DPS. Her talent has a shorter cooldown than the 4-piece boost, allowing her to strike more freely.

8/12

Blizzard Strayer is a character in the game Blizzard Strayer

8 Blizzard Strayer Image credit: HGG/miHoYo

  • Cryo DMG Bonus +15 percent 2-Piece
  • 4-Piece: A character’s CRIT Rate is enhanced by 20% when they tackle a Cryo-affected opponent. If the opponent is frozen, the CRIT Rate is enhanced by further 20%.
  • Vindagnyr’s peak is located here (Dragonspine)

The Cryo artifact variation is next on our list. If the squad is set up to take advantage of it, this one also enhances a powerful 4-piece effect, turning the wielder into a crit machine of destruction.

If you have Xingqiu on your squad, you can simply keep the opponent Frozen for a consistent 40% crit chance by using the correct Cryo user. For a total of 55 percent crit probability, slap on another Cryo user for that Cryo Resonance!

This artifact set can be used by almost every Cryo character, although Kaeya, Ayaka, and Ganyu are the ones that profit the most from it. They may keep Cryo on the adversary and adjust their build for enormous critical damage because to short cooldowns and mechanisms.

Chongyun, Aloy, and Rosaria have a lot of synergy with this artifact set, although they’re better as burst supports. To get the most value out of them, take the 2-piece bonus and combine them with Oblige Noblesse.

7/12

Finale of the Gladiator

7 Gladiator's Finale Image credit: HGG/miHoYo

  • ATK +18 percent for a two-piece.
  • 4-Piece: Increases the Normal Attack DMG by 35% if the user of this artifact set wields a Sword, Claymore, or Polearm.
  • Weekly/Normal Bosses and Mystic Offering are located at this location.

The go-to artifact set for those seeking for a quick 18% ATK boost that may be used in conjunction with another set.

When you reach Adventure Rank 45, you may manufacture the Gladiator’s Finale set, which is one of four regular artifact sets that drop from monsters and can be produced at Alchemy Tables. Simply by farming bosses for ascension materials, you’ll end up with a lot of them.

While the 4-piece bonus is fairly excellent, it almost always loses out to more specialized sets. Regardless, if you simply want to equip a melee character with some carelessly thrown together set so they can deal some damage, it’s a simple artifact set to put together.

As previously said, you’ll mostly use the 2-piece bonus on characters that like to mix and match artifact sets. Geo Traveler, Chongyun, Lisa, and Ningguang are the characters most likely to do so.

6/12

Flame of a Pale Color

6 Pale Flame Image credit: HGG/miHoYo

  • Physical DMG +25 percent in two pieces
  • 4-Piece: ATK is boosted by 9% for 7s when an Elemental Skill strikes an opponent. This effect may be activated once every 0.3s and stacks up to two times. The 2-set impact is amplified by 100% after two stacks are obtained.
  • Ridge Watch is a place to keep an eye on (Liyue)

This artifact set can only be used by a very particular kind of character. Those that can, on the other hand, will see this as their only viable alternative.

You must use a melee weapon (sword, claymore, or polearm) and have a skill with a cooldown of 6 seconds or less to qualify. Razor and Eula are the first characters to satisfy these requirements, followed by Keqing and Anemo Traveler.

Use your talent to build and sustain stacks of the 4-piece benefit whenever it is available. That is all there is to it.

As claymore users, Razor and Eula both have mechanics that stack personal bonuses while using their talent and strike fairly powerfully. This artifact set transforms them into regular monsters that attack. Because you don’t have to worry about elemental resistances while using regular attacks, they may be used against any adversary.

Keqing necessitates a little more effort since she must charge attack after striking an adversary with her skill in order to get the 4-piece bonus. This will cause her talent to be activated a second time, allowing her to keep the set bonus at 100% up time.

This is the greatest physical build for an Anemo Traveler, although they’re better off with an Anemo build with a different artifact set.

5/12

Flames’ Crimson Witch

1638226704_708_5 Crimson Witch of Flames Image credit: HGG/miHoYo

  • 2-Piece: +15 percent Pyro DMG Bonus
  • 4-Piece: 40 percent increase in Overloaded and Burning DMG. Increases DMG vaporization and melting by 15%. For 10s, using an Elemental Skill boosts the 2-Piece Set Bonus by 50% of its original value. No more than three stacks are allowed.
  • Location: Zhou Formula’s Hidden Palace (Liyue)

We’ve returned to the set of elemental artifacts once again. Pyro is the star of the show this time!

This artifact set’s 4-piece bonus affects Burning damage, allowing Pyro users to be self-sufficient without depending on elemental reactions. Even more so, given that each stack adds 7.5 percent to the Pyro damage bonus’s original 15 percent.

Of course, considering how potent Melt/damage Vaporize’s modifier is, adding another 15% to it is rather excellent.

Almost any Pyro DPS character will want to use this artifact set, if only for the bonus of two pieces. With an 18 percent ATK increase set, Klee and Yoimiya will want to mix and match.

The 4-piece bonus feeds Diluc, Hu Tao, Yanfei, and Xiangling. You’ll completely annihilate the adversary if you combine them with a squad that can set up elemental reactions. By repeating his talent, Diluc may earn all three stacks from the 4-piece bonus.

4/12

The Millelith’s tenacity

1638226705_583_4 Tenacity of the Millelith Image credit: HGG/miHoYo

  • 2-Piece: HP is increased by 20%.
  • 4-Piece: When an Elemental Skill strikes an opponent, all adjacent party members’ ATK and Shield Strength are raised by 20% and 30% respectively for 3s. Once every 0.5 seconds, this effect may be activated. Even if the character who is utilizing this artifact set is not on the field, its effect may still be activated.
  • Ridge Watch is a place to keep an eye on (Liyue)

The ideal artifact package for off-field assistance. The 4-piece bonus in this set can only be used by a select few characters whose abilities last even while they aren’t on the field. Your active character will get a significant bonus as long as their ability continues to strike foes.

Qiqi, Kokomi, and Zhongli are the three characters that can make the most of this set.

Qiqi just needs to activate her ability and change characters. Her talisman will hit and proc the effect as long as your character is within melee range of an adversary.

Kokomi needs more active control since she must alternate between burst and skill in order to keep her jellyfish on the field. She can, however, keep the artifact’s impact running at about 100% uptime. Her heals are additionally more effective as a result of the set’s 2-piece increase to health.

Finally, this artifact set’s ultimate wielder is Zhongli. He may produce a shield to benefit from the shield strength bonus, the 2-piece HP boost improves the strength of his shield, and his hold skill causes the pillar he generates to reverberate damage periodically to renew the 4-piece buff.

3/12

Venerable Venerable Venerable Venerable Venerable Venerable Ven

1638226706_69_3 Viridescent Venerer Image credit: HGG/miHoYo

  • Anemo DMG Bonus +15 percent (two-piece)
  • Swirl DMG is increased by 60% with the 4-piece set. For 10 seconds, reduces the opponent’s Elemental RES to the element infused in the Swirl by 40%.
  • Valley of Remembrance is a place of remembrance in the United States (Mondstadt)

The greatest and ultimate group of elemental artifacts. It’s Anemo this time.

Aside from the 2-piece and 4-piece bonuses providing a significant damage increase to your Anemo/Swirl damage (which is exactly what Anemo aspires for), the set also allows for some of the most powerful damage setups in the game.

The elemental RES shred is tremendous, and it lasts long enough for you to cycle through any further buffs that the rest of your squad may supply before annihilating the adversary with your primary damage dealer.

Given that every Anemo character in the game is urged to assemble the 4-piece set, it’s quite clear how strong this artifact set is (except Xiao due to mechanics, but even he builds the 2-piece set).

When you consider that most Anemo characters are focused on swarming foes and inflicting AoE damage, the elemental shred is applied to all hit targets, this set becomes even more valuable.

2/12

Noblesse Oblige

1638226707_263_2 Noblesse Oblige Image credit: HGG/miHoYo

  • Elemental Burst DMG +20 percent, 2-Piece
  • 4-Piece: Using an Elemental Burst improves the ATK of all party members by 20% for 12 seconds. This effect can’t be combined with others.
  • Weekly/Normal Bosses and Mystic Offering are located at this location.

The most effective artifact set for preparing your squad to do enormous damage. In the vast majority of team configurations, at least one character will be running the 4-piece bonus.

Simply trigger the 4-piece set’s burst first, then link the rest of your team’s combinations together to annihilate the adversary.

Bennett, who already offers an ATK boost with his burst, is the most well-known character for this. Other characters to consider for this position include Diona, Kujou Sara, and Electro Traveler, all of whom have a high burst value.

It’s also very uncommon for a character to combine the 2-piece bonus with another set in order to make their burst into a mini nuke. Albedo and Chongyun are two excellent examples.

You’ll get the majority of them during boss runs and construct them at the Alchemy Table when you reach Adventure Rank 45, much like the Gladiator’s Finale set.

1/12

Severed Fate Emblem

  • 2-Piece: +20 percent Energy Recharge
  • 4-Piece: Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 25% when Energy Recharge is used. This method may give you up to 75% additional DMG.
  • Momiji-Dyed Court is a location in Momiji, Japan (Inazuma)

Finally, we’ve arrived at the top of the list. The goal of this artifact set is to enable and strengthen a character’s burst as frequently as feasible.

It’s not difficult at all. Characters that are focused on utilizing their burst as much as possible are already generating energy recharge, making the 4-piece bonus more greater.

You’ll need 300 energy recharge on a character to receive the full 75 percent damage increase. For certain characters, this may be a touch excessive, but it assures that you’ll always have their burst ready when it comes off cooldown.

Given how devastating some characters’ bursts can be, the increased frequency and increased damage may be mind-boggling. Mona’s bubble nuke, Raiden Shogun’s destructive lightning sword, Rosaria’s crit domain, and Beidou’s constant Electro surge are all prime instances of this.

All of those characters want to utilize their burst all of the time, and this artifact set makes it possible, making it the finest artifact set in Genshin Impact.
